		<description>Interesting assertion that Microsoft SQL Server has market leadership.  Gartner and IDC both appear to give that leadership to Oracle Database, with worldwide RDBMS market share of 48.6% (Gartner) or 44% (IDC).  IDC give Microsoft 18% of the 2007 market and Gartner give Microsoft 18% of the 2006 market (apologies, I haven't later figures for Gartner).

Let me declare my interest;  I work for Oracle :-)</description>
